Main Window Under full mode, the main window of Total Screen Recorder is made up of 4 parts.
Compact Mode Under compact mode, Total Screen Recorder will hide Menubar, Summary Window and Status Bar, only Toolbar will be kept.
System Tray Icon When Total Screen Recorder is running, its icon will be shown in your computer's system tray. Anytime when Total Screen Recorder is hidden, you can click the icon to activate and show it on your computer's screen. You can also right click on the icon to show the popup menu for a quick action.
The Recorder Menu The "Recorder" menu includes recorder operations, such as "Start", "Stop", and so on.
The View Menu The "View" menu includes mode switch and option operations.
The Help Menu The "Help" menu includes help and support operations.
Toolbar Total Screen Recorder has a toolbar docked on the top of the window. It includes the most used operations. Move the cursor over the icon and wait a while, the tip of the button will be displayed. The snapshot of the toolbar is listed below.
Summary Window The Summary Window shows brief summary of current record settings.
Status Bar The status bar indicates current working status of Total Screen Recorder.
Options Dialog You can change record settings by clicking "View > Options..." to activate Options Dialog. There are three pages in Options Dialog: "Recorder", "Encoder", and "More".
